Role Responsibilities and Requirements:
Searching for a Director of Sales to lead and manage the sales activities for a manufacturing company. Responsible for establishing and executing sales goals and plans that maintain existing markets and expand into new markets while ensuring profitability of products and services. Regularly researches and assesses the business market, potential opportunities, and the competition to deliver effective sales strategies and achieve results. Develops and recommends pricing strategies to accomplish targeted market share and profit goals. Oversees advertising and promotional activities. Also responsible for managing the Sales Department’s budget and controlling expenditures. Prepares marketing and sales reports.
- Four-year degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or a related field required.
- Eight or more years of related experience with at least five years in a marketing / sales management role required.
- Demonstrated success in leadership and sales management is essential.
- Excellent consultative selling and negotiation skills are a must.
