Role Responsibilities and Requirements:
Searching for a Quality Engineer to manage and ensure the quality of parts created throughout the product lifecycle. Responsible for conducting Advance Product Quality Planning (ADQP) as well as developing Control Plans and completing PPAP documentation. Works with cross-functional teams to create PFMEAs for part families. Reviews and addresses customer quality issues; conducts necessary 8-D Corrective Actions and completes risk assessments and PFMEA updates. Additional responsibilities include reviewing CMM programs, developing functional gaging, and providing support for metrology to quality assurance department.
- Four-year degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field and five-plus years of experience in a quality engineering role required.
- Background in GD&T and gage measuring equipment for machined and fabricated parts required.
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with CNC machining and Lean manufacturing is strongly desired.
